MINDFULNESS CLASSES, COURSES, RETREATS (MBCT & MBSR)

Mindfulness is a life skill that can deepen our sense of wellbeing. It involves paying attention to what is occurring in our present moment experience, with an attitude of openness and non-judgmental acceptance.  It engages all of our senses as we open to our entire experience, becoming aware of our body emotions, thoughts and the external environment, It is about “coming back to our senses”, being in touch with ourselves, with others and our surroundings in the present moment.

It is a natural and intuitive state of presence in which we can feel more connected, real and alive. Mindfulness is a state of being which is accessible to every one of us. It is also a  skill that we can cultivate more deeply in our lives. Some experience of Mindful presence will have been felt by all of us during moments in our lives, but perhaps we did not know what it was when we experienced it. We will be offering 1-day retreats within our premises and mindfulness 8wk courses. Some of the benefits of mindfulness documented in research…

As a Relax Kids coach, EFT/NLP practitioner and Mindfulness Teacher. I intend to run kid’s classes for children from 5yrs to 10yrs, a separate class for 10yrs to 12yrs and teenagers, these classes include movement, stretching, tapping techniques, breathing techniques, relaxation and kindness

We will also be running classes for teens and classes on managing Stress and Anxiety

Teaching EFT, emotional Freedom therapy and Chill Skills, these classes teach resilience, coping techniques that will support them in life. Especially teenagers who often do not always have the right skills to cope with what life throws at them

Mindfulness techniques help children cope with life’s challenges As more adults turn to mindfulness practices like yoga and meditation to combat mounting stress in their own lives

We feel safe when we are connected to life: to our breathing, our bodies, to each other. When our children feel connected, safe and centred, they can engage with life and all its joys and challenges They can self-regulate their stress, reduce anxiety, learn more easily, develop emotional intelligence.
